Another big opportunity for growth is approaching. The next New Moon & Solar Eclipse will take place tomorrow Thursday 10th of June 2021, at 12:52 CET. Eclipses can be strong energetic portals propelling us faster on the road of our evolution when used purposefully. They act like New Moon or Full Moons on steroids, their effect impacting the next six months rather than the next two weeks. That’s a wonderful opportunity to set the intentions that will pull you forward in the long term.
This eclipse will precisely take place at 19° in the mutable air sign of Gemini (The Twins). It carries the energy of the number 1, which in numerology symbolises the initial creative power, the divine force, the creative “I”. In the traditional Tarot de Marseille, this energy is channelled by the card of The Magician. It contains all potential, it has everything it needs. Its energy invites us to choose and begin. But choose and begin what?
Being in Gemini, the eclipse is ruled by Mercury, going retrograde at the moment. If we forget about the daily inconveniences this retrograde usually brings (miscommunication, issues with technology, delays, etc.), it mainly invites us to an introspection and to dive deep into the mercurian parts of ourselves: communicating, learning, connecting, networking, thinking.. Anything related to our perception is now highly activated, but due to the retrograde effect, the light is casted on our inner world, our inner desires, our past.
It is all about going down in our mind to find our Truth. Gemini has the incredible ability to dissect any system, any object, any belief and label every single component of it. It shows us that our reality is composed of a myriad of possibilities, and that its shape depends on the glasses through which we see the world. Only us, with our perception, define our own reality.
By breaking everything down to pieces,The Twins classify (black/white, good/evil, etc.) and invite us to do the same with our own mind. Are we strong enough to recognise the good as well as the evil in ourselves? If so, we will have the freedom to choose which parts we want to develop and which ones we want to transform.
The Twins, those two mad geniuses constantly setting our mind into movement show us the highway to knowledge. They’re pushing us to perceive more, to learn more, to communicate more. They’re telling us that it’s fine to be curious and do numerous things at the same time, but only under one condition: it has to resonate with ourselves.
Jupiter, squaring the moon nodes in Pisces, is bringing its own touch, inviting us to find meaning in what we learn, for something far bigger than ourselves, to bring more love, justice and compassion to our world. In the last weeks we were invited to dream about what we would like to see happening. We now need to learn what's necessary to make those dreams happen. For real.
