What do those short statements have in common? They all, in different ways, express the energy of the Leo archetype. This fixed fire sign of the Zodiac represents our ego. The desire we have to stand out from the crowd, to express ourselves and show the whole world who we truly are, without fear. It’s the child present in each of us, experiencing life spontaneously and joyfully, without caring a single moment about what people would say. It’s the queen who, full of charisma, casts her power and her uniqueness bluntly, expecting everyone to adore her. It’s the comedian who, approaching the complexity of life with humor and optimism, brings joy in exchange of applause.
The next New Moon will take place at 16° of the sign of Leo tomorro August 8th at 15:50 CET. I take the risk to sound like a broken record but it will again be a special moment for us all. Every single moment of our life is special. True. But it’s been now quite some time that the cosmos sends us some clear evolution messages through astrological timing. I can tell you that the New Moon of tomorrow is a big piece of cake that you don’t want to let slide under your nose without tasting it.

As I said, the New Moon will take place at 16° of the sign of Leo. It will therefore hold the energy of the number 7, associated with one of the most active cards of the Tarot cards: The Chariot. The message is clear, we have to take action and start executing our plans. The passive phase comes to an end. We’ve been “thinking that maybe”, “dreaming if only”, “not doing because” for too long. We’re now invited by this strong, fixed fire energy, to come to and end with the lame excuses to not take possession of our creative power. It’s time for our ego to shine.
Leo rules the heart space. So ask yourself honestly: what is my real creative purpose in life? What is it that makes me so unique? What are my potentials that I don’t give a chance to unfold because of my lack of confidence? What brings joy to my life? What makes me feel powerful? For once, authorise your ego to go out, to speak out freely, without fear. Our ego must have its space, it’s necessary. Mercury sitting at 25° of Leo will help expressing and communicating your ideal.
Globally, the astrological cocktail of tomorrow is really sort of “I’m the king and I can do what I want”. Uranus is still in Taurus and will form a T-square with this New Moon in Leo and Saturn in Aquarius. It keeps shaking the status quo, pushing us to innovate and change anything that doesn’t serve our higher purpose anymore. Chiron, “the wounded healer”, is forming a Trine with the Sun and the Moon. It will bring a positive flow and send a message that would more or less be: “if you decide to fight for yourself, for your own desires, a great deal of healing is on its way”. That really sounds like something that the Oracle of Delphi would say no? I love that.
So yes, this is definitely a very positive New Moon. Of course your life won’t change radically tomorrow at 15:50, but the energy will work in your favor if you set positive intentions. It only requires pure honesty towards yourself. Recognise that you, and only you, self-sabotage yourself in many areas of your life. It’s totally normal to feel heavy and depressed when we compare who we are right now to who we really want to be. We first need the strength to face our shit. It’s part of the process. I send my support to all people with many planets in Leo, it’s gonna be rock’n roll, but full of growth.
