Full Moon in Aquarius! The first of two consecutive, the next one taking place in August. Out of the fact that I’m an Aquarius myself, I simply love the Aquarian energy: a visceral need to be free, to be yourself, to reject anything that is not aligned with who you truly are, to innovate and bring something unique to society. In one word: individuation. Just writing those words, I feel a fire burning stronger deep inside me.
This is the energy that this Full Moon is offering us tomorrow early in the morning, full power at 4:36 AM, Berlin time. As usual, don’t worry, you don’t need to wake up that early to set your intentions and meditate. The energy of a Full Moon lasts in general between two and three days, so take your time to create the space and time to enjoy your ritual. Even if, I have to say, there’s something genuinely powe
rful and sacred when waking up early for a ritual. Something very personal, intimate, that shows your will to manifest what you want in your life.
This Full Moon takes place on the axis Leo-Aquarius. The Sun sits in Leo, its own sign, in which it just entered. It is at home, shining stronger than anywhere else in the Zodiac, inviting us to let go, have fun and enjoy life in a spontaneous way, but more than anything else, to express ourselves and create!
On the other side, the Moon in Aquarius
invites us to let our spirit of freedom speak, to truly listen to our inner voice and define what we really incarnated in this life for. The Moon is all about feelings, intuition and the exploration of the inner world. So dive! Dive within yourself and ask who you truly are, what you truly want to manifest, what makes you incredibly unique and what you can bring to this world that absolutely no one else can. The Sun will do its share of the work, bringing the energy to let everything out and put everything on the stage.
Moon and Sun will be standing at the very first degree of Aquarius and Leo, carrying the energy of the number 1. And what does it mean please? Nothing less than independence, self-sufficiency and self-determination. In the Tarot, this energy is also carried by the Magician and the Strength, bringing possibilities to manifest things for real while instinctively keeping control of our energy. Sorry for asking, but what else do we need?
The Aquarian energy will also allow you to be detached from the outcome. By that, I mean that whatever the answers to the quest
ions above are, you will benefit from a certain impermeability against criticism and remarks. You won’t really have the choice anyways. Saturn is still moving through Aquarius too, in retrogradation, emphasizing a feeling of restriction and oppression within you. The topics of freedom, restriction and censorship might resonate strongly. But Uranus, the planet of eccentricity, individuation and miracles, ruler of Aquarius, is not seeing Saturn moving in its own sign from a good perspective. The two planets are squaring each other. Fro
m Taurus, Uranus is pushing to shake the status quo, to refuse the restrictions, to be authentic and real to yourself. Simply to individuate! Those two planets are very slow and powerful, their effect is seen in the long term and we can hardly resist what they want us to manifest. It’s like two titans battling in the sky right now, and just like the plate tectonics, we can’t do much about it except surrender to their energy and follow the path that is shown to us.
This post would not be complete if I didn’t mention Pluto, the planet of transformation, death, shadow, control, manipulation, power, etc. (Yes, all the dirty things we don’t necessarily want to talk about! That’s why I love it!) It will be in conjunction with the Moon and opposing the Sun at the time of the
Full Moon, at 25° in the sign of Capricorn (energy of the number 7, action in the world). This will bring an extremely valuable and ruthless insight on what you practically have to do to manifest your intentions. Capricorn is the sign of the go-getter, it makes things happen for real. It will show you where you’re standing at the moment, the mountain you need to c
limb, and what you need to climb it. No lies, no icing on the cake, just the pure naked truth. It will give you the opportunity to set long term plans in motion. So, ask yourself where you want to be in the future, and don't hesitate to go long term, like 1 to 5 years ahead.
